One of Godard’s better films. It’s the story of a robbery gone wrong. He takes a simple plot and makes a watchable film with the use of striking black and white imagery and a rocking jazz score. Some of the humor is very subtle so it may not register right away. The performances are interesting as well as the cinematography.
