I liked this one. I thought it was funny. I’m a fan of Kevin Smith’s dialogue. I think he’s one of the best dialogue men in the business. And I was surprised at how less sexually graphic and how more romantic the plot was. There are quite a few funny moments including a anal sex scene that goes wrong!

OK, I get it, African-Americans can be warm, endearing and upwardly mobile; at least that’s what seems to be the message with almost every black movie that’s been made since the year 2000. White Hollywood made these movies many, many, many years ago. Why are we repeating them? This movie was OK. Not real funny, but worth seeing because of the star talent. The highlight for me was the bathroom scene with Tracy Morgan and OK, I get it, African-Americans can be warm, endearing and upwardly mobile; at least that’s what seems to be the message with almost every black movie that’s been made since the year 2000.
