If you want to know the equivalent of of what it's like to stare at a blank wall for two hours, watch this movie. I must admit, I hesitated seeing this movie. I saw it 12 years ago when it was called "Soul Food". Mekhi Phifer even shows up, he plays a character who is the executive producer of the movie.

I'm not a fan of soap operas, black or white, never was. And this is yet ANOTHER black soap opera love story. For a film about sex, the filmmakers seem to be afraid to take it to the erotic edge.
